Klausen is a steep hill with a rise up to 65%, facing east and south-east. The vines were planted in 2000. Highly calcareous, sedimentary soil from the tertiary, mostly lime-and sandstone.1
Harvest on 30th of September 2015. Spontaneous fermentation and 24 days of maceration, malolactic fermentation, maturation for 18 months in 300- and 500-liter barrels.2
